Ouch!!!!

So today was a really crazy day. I was trying to get alot done. Chase had to be to school, I have a few errands to run, while he was at school. So that I only had to take 3 kids instead of 4 to the store. With one less it makes it much easier. Anyway I was at Petsmart getting some crickets for Charlie (the leopard gecko) and we are babysitting my sister's hamster, so I had to get some food for it. Anyway I was at the checkout and my cell phone went off. I don't usually answer my phone when I am at the checkout, but it was Andy. So I answered the phone can I call you right back, except for on the other end of the phone said I am hurt. So I stopped what I was doing and said what?? R you okay?? Where are you going. I didn't even asked what happened. I dropped the kids off at Andy's mom and dads, and headed off to meet him at the urgent care. Sorry Cami for losing it on you. It was already a very stressful day, and this didn't help. Anyway I got to the urgent care and I guess what happened is Andy was switching a skid plate from one skid to another. It is a metal plate that weighs between 75 to 85 pounds, fell on his feet. Right between were your toes connect to your foot. There are no broken bones, just really crushed soft tissue. He toe nail will probably fall off, it was bleeding under the toe nail. (Sorry for the details.) He is on crutches until Tuesday. He can only walk only back of his feet, and it still hurts really bad. So needless to say. Andy will be on the couch the entire weekend if someone wants to come entertain him. I guess that he is just getting rest, before I have my surgery on the 3rd. I just hope that he is feeling better before Friday next week.

ER visit

Well we got another one of those ER visits with Alyssa. She has been sick since Saturday. And get really high fevers. Well Tuesday night was not a good night, and by Wednesday morning she wasn't eating or drinking, plus she had a fever of 104.9, so I called the nurse to see what she would like me to do, and they don't give kids fluids with IV's so off the Primarys we went. We spend most of the day up there. After a bag in a half of fluids she was looking much better and had her attitude back. If we could just get all of us healthy and not have to go to the doctors anymore. Life would be great.

St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!! We started the day off with Green Mickey Mouse pancakes. The Kids had a blast with them. It is so nice outside that we let the kids go play. We also had a few extra kids at our house. Here are some pictures. Sorry they aren't the greatest. We still haven't gotten a camera. Hopefully we will get one soon.

I was only trying to help

We have just started Madelyn on some foods, and I got those gerber puffs for her to eat. Anyway I was doing some pampered chef stuff and turned around to an explsion all over the floor. Blake tried to help give her some and the whole bottle was all over her, the tray, and the floor. It was really funny. And then to see his express was even better. It was saying I was just trying to help mom. I couldn't help but laugh.

Disneyland

We are home. Disneyland was a blast. We loved the warmer temps there. The whole time is was in the 70's!!! We also got to go to the beach while we were there. The kids had a blast, even though the water was a little on the cold side. We left on Saturday and drove to Vegas, stayed in Vegas Saturday night. It was Chase's Birthday and he wanted to go to the Nascar Cafe. We didn't get in until late so we told him that we could go in the morning, so Sunday morning we got up and went to the M&M factory. The kids loved that. They each got a little bag of M&M of there colors. Then we road the monorail to the Nascar Cafe. It was closed for remodel, so there still was a little area to eat, so we ate lunch, and he got to get his birthday present. Which was a Matt Kenseth haler. He was so excited just to see the cars. Then off we went to Anaheim. Apparently never drive from Vegas to the LA area on a Sunday afternoon. We were in stop and go traffic from Primm Neveda to Just outside of Anaheim. It was really bad. What should have taken us about a 3 1/2 hour drive took us 8 hours. It was totally crazy. We got there about 10 PM and the kids were wired because they had just been in a car for 8 hours. So I think they finally settle down about midnight. Then Monday morning we went for our first day of Disneyland. We had a pass to get into Toontown early, so we went to see Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy. The kids had a blast seeing everyone. Blake didn't want anything to do with anyone except for Mickey Mouse. When he saw him, he was so excited that he went running and almost knock Mickey Mouse on the floor. It was really funny. Then we rode some rides. Then we waited for an hour just to see some of the Princess for Alyssa. I think that line was the longest we waited for anything. But to see the expression on Alyssa face when we finally got to go was way worth it. Then walking around we got to see more of the characters. We rode more rides, and then it was time to go for the day. Tuesday we got to go to a character breakfast. It was totally awesome. The kids really enjoyed that. We got to see alot of the characters, like Minnie, Tigger, Eeyore, Fairy Godmother, Captain Hook, White Rabbit, and Chip and Dale. If you ever go to Disneyland it is worth the money to go. It was a buffet breakfast. It was awesome food. Then we went and rode the rides that we didn't get on Monday. We went a saw Winnie the Pooh, Woody and Jessie from toy story. Andy and I even got to go on Slash Mountain. My favorite all time ride. Andy went on some other roller coasters. Then the rest of Tuesday afternoon was spent in California Adventure land. We didn't have to wait to get on any ride. The kids really enjoyed a bug's life land. They have a ride that you go around to different things and you can actually smell stuff. It was way cool. They closed at 6 PM. So we went back to the place we were staying a everyone crashed. Then Wednesday we didn't get up early we all slept in. We went to finish California adventure land. We went to a live show of Play house Disney. The kids loved that. It was interactive and they could sing and dance. They rode more rides. We had meal vouchers that we had to finish using, so we went to a place called Ariel's Grotto. The food was awesome and you got to see all five princess. Alyssa was in heaven. If we didn't have the voucher I don't think that we would have gone, because it was a 4 course meal, and it was $30 bucks for adults and 17 bucks for kids 3 and up. It was a great experience. Then we rode on more rides, I don't think we waited longer than 10 mins for the rides, it was awesome. Then Wednesday afternoon we went to the beach, by the time we got there it was sunset and cold. The kids still enjoyed the ocean. Except for Blake, who fell in when a wave come and hit him, which scared him. Then we needed to get some dinner, Right across the street from where we parked to go to the beach, was an Old Spaghetti Factory. Which the kids wanted to go. It was nice to go somewhere the kids were used to, and the prices were cheap. Then we went to bed. We got up on Thursday got all of our stuff together and left. We decided to go stop by the beach, since it wasn't that far away. The kids play there for about an hour. Then off we came home. We stopped in Vegas for the night. By the time we got there, we ate dinner and went to bed everyone was so tried. We got home late Friday night. All in all it was a great vacation that our family really needed. Here are some pictures.
